Guest speakers will include Dr. Maura Conway, senior lecturer on international security at Dublin City University's School of Law and Government, whose expertise is on the functioning and effectiveness of political extremist online content and violent online radicalisation. Erik Windmar is a member of the cabinet of Cecilia Malmström, EU Commissioner for Home Affairs,responsible for radicalisation, the Internet and victims of terrorism. Marco Pancini, Senior Policy Counsel at Google, based in Brussels, is responsible for open Internet issues, freedom of expression and child safety. This event is part of the series of briefings on Radicalisation led by Dr. Lorenzo Vidino, Senior Policy Advisor, European Foundation for Democracy.
