Privacy, security and surveillance: tackling international dilemmas and dangers in the digital realm (WP1361)

On the 17th of November, Marietje Schaake will speak in a panel on the export of surveillance technology. The panel aims to provide an understanding of the context and the challenges related to the broader theme of the roundtable meeting: "Privacy, security and surveillance: tackling international dilemmas and dangers in the digital realm".

This roundtable meeting, organised by Wilton Park in partnership with the Institute for Human Rights and Businesss, brings together stakeholders from government, business and civil society worldwide to provide a clearer understanding of the process of lawful interception worldwide and how that impacts the global cyber export industry and regulations on investigation and data retention.
