Visit to Washington DC
As vice-chair of the Delegation for relations with the United States, Marietje Schaake will take part in the Interparliamentary Meeting (IPM) with the US Congress in Washington D.C. on 4 and 5 November 2015. Schaake will also attend the twelfth meeting of the Trilateral Strategy Group (TSG) of the German Marshall Fund (GMF) and TÜSIAD and to be held in Washington DC from 4 to 6 November. The meeting brings together a core group of 40 to 45 government, business, and thought leaders from Europe, the United States and Turkey for a dynamic off-the-record discussions on this year's topic: "Pressing Issues on the Trilateral Agenda."
