Media: European Parliament Members on Cyber Privacy

On The Communicators, 02.09.2011, C-SPAN.org On The Communicators, two members of the European Parliament discuss the differences between European and American internet policy, and Europe’s approach internet development, privacy and technology.  Marietje Schaake, member of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Party, and James Elles, member of the Conservative Party, are gusts on the program. Both EU Parliament members say the 27 member European Union needs to unify the digital market by creating universal access for online users. They say digital infrastructure and services are fractured among the different EU nations.
