The Hague, June 25-28 More information on the website of Humanity in Action. The Humanity in Action International Conference is the annual gathering of young and established leaders committed to promoting human rights, diversity and active citizenship in their own communities and around the world. The 2015 International Conference, "Gateway to Justice: The Hague,” will be held from June 25 to June 28 in The Hague, The Netherlands. Over four days, participants will explore how The Hague’s approach to international justice and peace impacts national debates on human rights issues in the Netherlands and throughout the Western world. The program will address how institutions in The Hague, including the International Criminal Courts, International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, International Court of Justice, impact some of the most important historical and contemporary international disputes and violations of the rule of law. The conference will feature keynotes, workshops and discussions led by Dutch and international experts, activists and Humanity in Action Senior Fellows. Speakers will illuminate the city’s approach to international peace, justice and reconciliation as these forces intersect with public service, politics, academia, activism, business and other critical fields. The International Conference will also feature tours within The Hague, the annual Senior Fellow Reunion Dinner, skills training sessions and networking events for Humanity in Action's international community. Marietje Schaake will speak on June 25, from 17:00-19.00 during the Opening Reception:
