US metal tariffs 'a slap in the face' for Europe
The US is to impose tariffs on steel and aluminium imports from key allies in Europe and North America, starting at midnight.
The decision has prompted vows of retaliation from Mexico, Canada, and the EU, and was called a "bad day for world trade".
Dutch MEP Marietje Schaake sits on the international trade committee. She describes the move as a slap in the face.
