Marietje Schaake, Vice-President of the US Delegation in the European Parliament, brings a three-day visit to Washington D.C. The President and 2 Vice-Presidents of the US Delegation of the European Parliament will focus their meetings on trade and foreign policy topics, as well as other topics of mutual concern in the Transatlantic relation. They will meet their counterparts in the House of Representatives, such as the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee Congressman Paul Ryan. In the Senate they will discuss security and European affairs with Senators Ron Johnson and Jeanne Shaheen. Schaake will also have meetings at the State Department, the National Security Council and the White House. She will participate in round table meetings with various think-tanks.
