On the 3rd of December Marietje Schaake will participate as a panel member at a summit on Internet Governance. The topic of the panel is net neutrality and the panel will discuss such issues the competing visions of net neutrality in the EU and the US, whether the internet should be seen as a vital public utility or a commercial service, how critical services such as medical systems and disaster response should be prioritised and what new challenges are presented by the growth of the Internet of Things.
The panel will be moderated by Jacki Davis and other panel members include Christoph Steck, Patora Valero and Mathieu Weill.
