Write to [email protected]. One mailbox serves the whole desk, and the three editors read it between them. We answer in English.

Sending a correction

Corrections are the most useful mail we get, and the ones that move fastest carry evidence. Please include the address of the page, the sentence you think is wrong, and the source that shows it: a register entry, a published notice, a document naming the operating company, or a dated screenshot of a page that has since changed.

What happens next is fixed. We repeat the search ourselves, and if the evidence holds, the file is amended and its checked date is updated the same week. If it does not hold, we reply and explain why. We do not remove a file because a brand asks, and we do not soften a recorded absence into ambiguity.

Suggesting a brand

Send the name and, if you have it, the advertisement or the page where you met it. We cannot promise coverage: the desk is small and the queue is longer than the week. Brands that are being pushed at several European markets at once tend to move up it.

What we cannot do

We cannot give legal or investment advice, and we cannot tell you whether to open an account anywhere. We cannot recover money, contact a platform on your behalf, or intervene in a dispute. We are not a supervisor and have no authority over anyone.

We also cannot tell you that a service is safe. The most a file ever says is what the public record contains on the day we looked.

If money has already gone

Do not wait for our reply; the useful steps are time sensitive and they belong to you.

Contact the bank or card issuer that made the payment on the same day and ask about a dispute or a recall. Report the brand to the financial supervisor of the country you live in, which is the authority competent for firms soliciting its residents. Report it to the police service that handles online fraud where you live. Keep every statement, message, page and phone number, because an official request for evidence arrives later and memory is not evidence.

If you then send us what you sent them, with the parts that identify you removed, it may improve a file for the next reader.

Press and rights of reply

A company that believes a file misdescribes it is welcome to write, and the same standard applies as to everyone else: a document or a register entry changes the page, an assertion does not. We do not publish statements as a right of reply, because a statement from an unverified operator is exactly the kind of unsourced claim these files exist to separate out.
