What a file is worth
A file describes what public records contained on a stated date. It is a snapshot of databases, not a certificate about a business.
A search that returned nothing means only that: no matching entry was found by us, on that day, in the sources we name. It is not a finding that a service is unlicensed, fraudulent or dishonest, and it is not a clean bill of health either. An entry we did find is equally limited: registers are maintained by third parties, they contain errors, and they change without notice to us.
Where we quote what a platform says about itself, we are reporting a claim, not endorsing it. Where a file names an authority, a register or a database, that authority has no connection with this site and has not reviewed or approved anything published here.
Risk of trading
Trading in contracts for difference, foreign exchange, derivatives and crypto assets carries a high risk of losing money quickly, and leverage increases both gains and losses beyond the amount deposited. Automated trading software does not remove that risk: it changes who presses the button, not whether the market moves against you. Past results, simulated results and results shown in advertising are not indicators of future returns.
Money placed with a firm that is not authorised is typically outside any investor compensation scheme and outside the complaints procedures that supervised firms must follow, which means an ordinary dispute may have no route at all.

Links to registers, authorities and other external sites are provided so that readers can check things for themselves. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or availability, and a link is never a recommendation of a commercial service.

Files are written carefully and corrected willingly, but they are compiled from sources we do not control and may contain mistakes or become out of date. The site is provided as it is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publishers accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on anything published here. Decisions about your money remain yours.
